How we produce the Limparo Field Guides

Last reviewed: November 7, 2026

Limparo is software built for pool management and commercial pool service companies. The Limparo Field Guides publish practical guides for those companies: water chemistry and testing records, equipment and seasonal work, health inspections and pool codes, service contracts and pricing.

Where the guides come from

We research each guide from primary sources. These include pool and spa codes, health departments and other regulators, legislation, public health agencies, standards bodies and official statistics for the jurisdiction the guide covers. We link those sources where we use them and list them at the end of the guide, so you can check the information yourself.

Some guides use an example, a filled-in log or a calculation to show how a decision works. When that example is illustrative rather than taken from a real facility, the guide says so.

How they are written

We use AI tools to help research and draft the guides. Before a guide goes live, we check it against its sources and our publishing standards.

We write each language edition for its own readers, with local units, currency, institutions and examples. We do not translate guides word for word. A guide about the pool code in one state, province or country names that jurisdiction, and reading it in another language does not make those rules apply elsewhere.

Limparo Editorial is the publisher byline for the guides. Where a named person has reviewed a guide, the guide says so.

Dates and updates

Every guide shows the date we published it. When we change a guide substantially, for example because a code, a limit or an inspection requirement has changed, we also show the date of that update. Guides that depend on rules or prices carry a review date, so we know when to check them again.

Corrections

If a figure is wrong, a code has changed or you think we have missed something, write to support@limparo.com. We read every report and correct guides when they need it.

Disclaimer

The guides are general information for pool management and commercial pool service companies. They are not legal, public health, safety, engineering, tax or financial advice. They do not replace advice from a qualified professional or from the health department or other authority responsible for the pools you service.

Pool and spa codes differ by country, state, province and municipality, and they change. Operators remain responsible for meeting the health and safety codes that apply where they operate. Check the official sources we link before you act, and take professional advice where you need it.

We take reasonable care to keep the guides accurate, but we cannot guarantee that every guide is complete, error-free or current in every circumstance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Limparo is not liable for loss arising from reliance on the guides. Links to other websites are for reference, and we do not control those sites.
